Visit to the Nottingham City Museums & Galleries Store, Bobbers Mill
A sneak peek behind the scenes at the Nottingham City Museums & Galleries off-site storage facility. We will tour three units, containing industrial history, social history and archaeology collections, seeing everything from a Nottingham built Swift & Wass curtain lace machine, to material from Raleigh, Cropper, Players and everyday items such as radios, telephones, bricks and mangles!
All talks take place at Lowdham WI Hall and start at 7.30 and are followed by tea or coffee afterwards. New members and guests always welcome.
