Visit to Rolls-Royce Hucknall Flight Test Museum
This exciting new museum, located on the former historic Hucknall Airfield site in Nottinghamshire, celebrates the remarkable legacy of the Rolls-Royce Hucknall Flight Test Establishment, featuring test engines from the site, the John Housley model collection, archive documents with original films and photographs telling the unique history of Rolls-Royce flight and ground testing from 1934 to Test Facilities’ final closure in the 1990’s
All talks take place at Lowdham WI Hall and start at 7.30 and are followed by tea or coffee afterwards. New members and guests always welcome.
